The Clean Bread and Cheese Creek organization is making a huge impact for the local area of Dundalk as well as for the state of Maryland. We will be participating in many projects and events including several clean-ups and other environmental awareness events... we hope to see you throughout the year! To review what we accomplished so far, please view our past projects.


March 28, 2015 – Spring Peninsula Expressway Cleanup:

9:30 AM – 2 PM (Anchor Bay Marina, 8500 Cove Road, Dundalk 21222). Help us as we team up with the Friends of the Hard Yacht Cafe to clean the Peninsula Expressway before all the trash and debris along this roadway washes in to the historic Bear Creek. Meet us in the Hard Yacht Café Parking lot and we will travel to the site as a group. contact us

April 4, 2015 – Spring Bakesale Fundraiser:

12 PM – 5 PM (Walmart, 2399 North Point Boulevard Dundalk 21222). Help us raise money to finance our cleanups in the Dundalk area by purchasing a homemade treat for your Dinner table or Easter celebration. Donations of baked goods are needed and greatly appreciated as well.For more information please contact us.

April 10, 2015- Woods cleanup behind the North Point Shopping Center and Flea Market Cleanup

9 AM – 2 PM (North Point Plaza, 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk 21222). Help us clean up the woods behind North Point Plaza Shopping Center and Flea Market. If left the trash it not only choking out all the natural vegetation it is also washing into the stream which flows into Bear Creek and the Chesapeake Bay. This cleanup will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream Event and American Rivers.

April 11, 2015 – Bread and Cheese Creek Cleanup:

8 AM – 2 PM (Bread and Cheese Creek, 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk 21222). Help us clean up this historic creek from Berkshire to North Point Road. Any trash not removed from the stream will flow into Back River and the Chesapeake Bay! This cleanup will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream Event and American Rivers. For more information please contact us.

April 25, 2015 – Bear Creek Park and Pond Cleanup:

9 AM – 2 PM (Bear Creek Park, Intersection of Park Haven and Melbourne Road, Dundalk 21222).Help us clean up the park and historic shoreline of Bear Creek where the British ships landed to invade Baltimore and try to surround Fort McHenry. This cleanup will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream Event and American Rivers. For more information please contact us.

May 11, 2015- Boulevard Diner Fundraiser

6 PM – 10 PM (1660 Merritt Boulevard, Dundalk 21222). Join us at the Boulevard Diner as they generously donate a percentage of all sales in their back dining room our cleanup efforts in the community. Be sure to ask to be seated in the Bread and Cheese Creek section!

May 16, 2015 – Stansbury Park and Pond Cleanup:

9 AM – 2 PM (Stansbury Park, 7800 Stansbury Road, Dundalk).In celebration of National Kids to Parks Day, please help us clean up this beautiful little park and pond because every child deserves a safe and clean place to enjoy nature.For more information please contact us.

June 27, 2015-Lynch Cove Run Cleanup

9 AM – 2 PM (Merritt Park Baptist Church parking lot, 1799 Merritt Boulevard, Dundalk). Please help us clean up this beautiful little stream that flows through many residential neighborhoods and into Bear Creek. NOTE: Registration will open at 7 am and run until 9 am at the Boulevard Diner across the street (1660 Merritt Boulevard, Dundalk) where breakfast will generously be provide for volunteers by the Boulevard Diner! Late registrants can sign up at the tent onsite next to the stream.

September 19, 2015 – Ocean Conservancy, International Costal Cleanup:

9 AM – 2 PM (TBD, Dundalk). This cleanup will be in support of the International Costal Cleanup, locations are still being determined.For more information please contact us.

September 26, 2015 – National Public Lands Day Cleanup:

9 AM – 2 PM (TBD, Dundalk). This cleanup will be in support of National Public Lands Day, locations are still being determined. For more information please contact us.
